Parametric Desert Pavillion
This parametric desert pavilion draws inspiration from the organic ridges and textures of desert canyons. The design process began with an AI-generated image capturing natural landscape forms, which served as the visual foundation. Building upon this, a pavilion structure emerged, incorporating an arch element reminiscent of the iconic formations in Arches National Park.
After generating the 2D arch using AI tools, it was transformed into a 3D form through AI-driven modeling software. Colors and patterns from the original desert-inspired image were then mapped onto the 3D structure.
Using Grasshopper and Rhino, the design was further developed through parametric techniques, enabling a seamless application of these textures and shapes across the pavilion’s form. The final step brought the project to life through detailed rendering, showcasing the dynamic fusion of technology and natural inspiration.
